Sudhir Patil, Satara: The BJP's saffron party has finally won the Satara Zila Parishad. Priya Shinde was elected as the president and Raju Bhosale as the vice-president with just one vote. The newly elected president, Priya Shinde, is the wife of MLA Mahesh Shinde of the Shiv Sena Shinde faction. The election was held amid high tension and police security. All the senior leaders of the district had made this election very prestigious. It was finally successful for the BJP, and the NCP and Shiv Sena have been defeated. It is known that despite the victory of the BJP candidate, there is still chaos in the Zila Parishad premises. Some members of the NCP and Shiv Sena are accused of not being allowed to vote.
