Bomb Blast Near Residence of Manipur Congress Leader Keisham Meghachandra Singh

A bomb blast has occurred near the house of State Congress MLA Keisham Meghachandra Singh in Yaraipok area of Manipur's Thoubal district at around 8.15 pm on 3rd September. Police have reached the spot and launched a search operation. According to the police, an unidentified person hurled an explosive at the house of Congress leader Meghachandra Singh. Relief is that there are no casualties in this incident. Keisham Meghachandra Singh has been the President of Manipur Congress. Recently, the party has replaced him with three-time Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh as the President of Manipur Congress.
