A nine-year-old boy died after the roof of a house collapsed on him in northeast Delhi's New Usmanpur area on Sunday night. The nine-year-old boy escaped unhurt as he was playing outside the house. Locals rescued the couple, identified as 32-year-old Tinku and his wife 30-year-old Urmila. Doctors declared them brought dead. Police have registered an FIR against the landlord for causing death by negligence and started an investigation. Deputy Commissioner of Police Rahul Alwal said that on the night of August 2, a roof of a house collapsed in JP Nagar's Gali No. 2. Police reached the spot and found that the roof of the house was full of debris. Urmila's wife Chandra rushed to the hospital where doctors declared her dead.
