BRICS Leaders Unite to Promote Equal Participation and Decision-Making at Global Level

During the BRICS summit in Delhi's Bharat Mandapam, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a roadmap on the future of BRICS, which was also agreed upon by the rest of the countries. BRICS countries emphasized equal commitment and participation of all countries at the global level. BRICS countries also said that the countries of the Global South should have the right to take decisions, because now global power is like a pyramid, where only a few countries at the top are taking decisions on the world and the rest of the countries are suffering. BRICS countries also expressed concern about wars and conflicts. BRICS also called for a way to be adopted on global issues in which all countries have equal rights and can play a role in global decision-making. Their interests should also be respected. BRICS countries gave a direct message to the United States and expressed concern about arbitrary tariffs. BRICS countries called for unilateral tariffs, non-tariff barriers, and said that no country can unilaterally obstruct the supply chain.
