Since the Lok Sabha elections, there has been an organisational tussle in the BSP. There is a tussle between two factions at the local level. A few months ago, Ravikant Maurya was removed from the post of chief divisional in-charge, replacing him with Lalaram Ahirwar. Party leaders at the local level became active against Lalaram. Complaints of factionalism and indiscipline in the party started reaching the high command after he took charge. There was talk of removing Lalaram Ahirwar from the post after a meeting called by the BSP supremo last month. On Tuesday, Ravikant was finally given the responsibility again by removing Lalaram. Similarly, the post of district president is also getting a chance to work for only two to three months. Advertisement party leaders are also apprehensive of its impact on the upcoming assembly elections. On getting the responsibility again, the chief divisional in-charge Ravikant has expressed his happiness to mobilize workers for the assembly elections.
