Building Collapse in Delhi's Chandni Chowk Area: 2 Dead, Several Feared Trapped

Part of an under-construction three-storey building collapsed in Chawri Bazar in Delhi's Chandni Chowk area on Thursday. The accident took place near Chawri Bazar metro station in Gali Sattara, Sheesh Mahal area. Panic gripped the spot after the part of the building collapsed. Several people are feared trapped in the debris. Delhi Police has confirmed two deaths. According to the Delhi Fire Department, it received information about a part of an under-construction building collapsing. After this, six fire tenders were rushed to the spot. NDRF teams also reached the spot and started rescue operations.
