CAG Report on Delhi State Finances Set for Tabling in Assembly Session

Amar Ujala Bureau Delhi | The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report on state finances for the financial year 2024-25 will be tabled in the monsoon session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly on Monday. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will table the report. The report is likely to trigger a war of words between the ruling and opposition parties. As per the agenda of the Assembly, Information Technology Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh will introduce the Delhi (Right of Citizens to Time-bound and Facilitated Delivery of Services) Bill, 2026. It is aimed at institutionalising a system of delivery of government services to citizens in a time-bound manner and ensuring accountability in service delivery. Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra will place the Delhi Bed and Breakfast Establishments (Repeal) Bill, 2026 in the House for consideration and passage. The bill was introduced on 7 August. The fifth report of the Business Advisory Committee will be adopted. MLA Shikha Rai's resolution on the Delhi Laxmi Yojana will continue to be discussed.
