Candidates Flock to File Nominations in Sonipat

Jagraon Correspondent, Sonipat: On the last day of filing nominations, a large number of candidates turned up at the mini-secretariat throughout the day. Many candidates arrived with drums and caravans to file their nominations. By evening, 12 leaders filed their nominations for the post of mayor and 110 for the post of councillor. Scrutiny of nominations will be done on April 27, while candidates can withdraw their nominations till April 28.
