CBI Questions Urmila Sanawar in Ankita Bhandari Case, Interrogation Ongoing

A CBI team is questioning Urmila Sanawar in Saharanpur. On Saturday, along with the interrogation of former MLA Suresh Rathore in Haridwar, a team had reached Saharanpur but could not find Urmila Sanawar. Today again the team reached Saharanpur and the interrogation has been going on for about 4 hours. Earlier on Saturday, the CBI had also questioned former MLA Suresh Rathore in the Ankita Bhandari case. A CBI team from Delhi had reached Haridwar on Saturday evening and had called former MLA Suresh Rathore for questioning at the Shivalik Guest House of BHEL. In fact, a recording of a mobile conversation between Suresh Rathore and actress Urmila Sanawar of Saharanpur, who identified herself as his wife, was circulated six months ago. In this conversation, the alleged VIP in the Ankita Bhandari case was mentioned as some BJP leaders. After this, several separate cases were filed against Suresh Rathore and Urmila Sanawar in Haridwar and Dehradun. A case was also filed on behalf of former BJP state in-charge and current governor Gautam Dushyant Kumar.
