Chief Minister Commemorates Birth Anniversaries of Indian Heroes, Praises Modi's Self-Reliance Efforts

On 2nd October, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Lal Bahadur Shastri. Then he told the media that it is the good fortune of all of us that after independence, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India's democracy is making its mark all over the world. Prime Minister Modi is taking the country towards self-reliance by carrying forward the spirit of Mahatma Gandhi and the idea of Swadeshi. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Congress ruled the country for a long time. But, it carried forward the legacy of the thinking of the British and their systems during that period. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, we are realizing the resolve of self-reliant India by carrying forward Swadeshi with the spirit of "Make in India" and "Made in India." He said that it is also a matter of pride for us that today we are celebrating the birth anniversaries of two heroes of the country's independence. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also remembered Captain Smit Machar.
