Cockroach Janata Party Reviews Government Promises Amidst Possibility of New Agitation

The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) will convene a meeting of its national working committee on Monday. The meeting will review the central government's promises on the basis of which the countrywide agitation was withdrawn on July 25. The party says that if the government goes back on its promises, it will be considered a betrayal of the youth of the country. The Cockroach Janata Party says that the government has not yet given any formal information about the steps being taken to fulfill the assurances given during the talks with the protesters. The party said that the committee will consider all options to implement the promises, including the possibility of launching another peaceful countrywide agitation. The CJP said that we had withdrawn our agitation in good faith, as the government had given an undertaking to the youth of the country. The party further said that it will not allow this good faith to be mistaken for weakness. The CJP asked the students, supporters of the youth, and citizens to be prepared for a joint meeting on Monday, August 18, across the country, to seek a warning from the Supreme Court and a list of FIRs against the protesters.
