Cockroach Janata Party Withdraws Agitation at Jantar Mantar After Reaching Agreement with Government

The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has announced the withdrawal of its agitation at Jantar Mantar in Delhi after agreeing to all major demands with the government, including the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the withdrawal of FIRs against the protesters. The decision was taken after three rounds of talks between the government and CJP representatives. The three major demands of the CJP were the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the withdrawal of all FIRs and legal cases registered against the protesters and organisers, and a compensation of ₹1 crore to the next of kin of the candidates who committed suicide after the NEET paper leak. Union Ministers JP and Dr Jitendra Singh, on behalf of the government, and Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, on behalf of the CJP, were involved in the talks. After the meeting, CJP chief spokesperson Saurav Das said, "The Cockroach Janata Party announces the withdrawal of the agitation on the basis of goodwill. We hope that the government will implement all the agreed FIR conditions within the stipulated time frame."
