Congress Leader Abdul Jaleel Passes Away: Political Leaders Mourn His Death

Abdul Jaleel was one of the prominent and popular leaders of Congress in Seemanchal. Since 1985, he contested 11 times on Congress ticket from Amour seat and represented the area winning six times. Leaders of various political parties have deeply mourned his death. Bihar government minister Leshi Singh said, "The news of the death of former minister and former MLA of Amour assembly constituency Abdul Jaleel Mastan is very sad and heartbreaking. Abdul Jaleel Mastan was a popular, hardworking and honest leader. He always worked dedicatedly for the service of the people of his area and society and for the public interest. His death has caused irreparable damage to the political and social field." Akhtarul Iman, the current AIMIM MLA of Amour, said that Mastan Sahib was the voice of the poor in Seemanchal.
