Congress Leader Harish Rawat's 'Thank You and Mass Contact Tour' Sparks Controversy

Politics in the state has heated up after the Congress high command's tough stand on former Uttarakhand chief minister and senior Congress leader Harish Rawat's'thanks and mass contact tour '. Harish Rawat has decided to postpone his proposed further 8-10 trips after Congress organization general secretary KC Venugopal banned'personal visits'and warned of action. However, he has also raised ignorance and questions on the party's stand. After his recent visit, Harish Rawat spoke to the media and posted on X. Yesterday, I had met Venugopal ji and explained the whole situation and said that if the party is making any co-ordinated (shared) program, then I postpone further 8-10 trips. But cancelling today's pre-scheduled trip was not good for the morale of the workers." Further, Shailaja Rawat said, "I have given my clarification to the party since 7th October.
