Congress Names Akash More Candidate for Baramati By-Election

Deepak Padkar, Pune: The Congress has finally announced its candidate for the by-election to the Baramati Assembly constituency. Akash More has been nominated by the Congress. He is the secretary of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee. His father Vijayrao More was an MLA in the Legislative Council. There was a possibility of him being elected unopposed in the Baramati by-election announced after the death of the late Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. However, this possibility has now been completely eliminated by the Congress.
