Congress Politician Nasir Qureshi Dies Suddenly During Procession

Like every year, this time too, Nasir Qureshi was walking with the people in the procession. He was looking perfectly healthy at that time. The procession was going towards Surajpur from Palace Road through different routes. Meanwhile, between 11:30 and 11:45 in the morning, his health suddenly deteriorated and he fell down and fell unconscious. The people walking with him handled him and immediately took him to the district hospital. The doctors there also gave CPR, but he could not be saved. The reason for his death is still not clear. Prima facie it is suspected that he had a heart attack. Nasir Qureshi was active in Congress politics from the beginning. He held various positions in Congress. He contested and won the first time as a councillor from Ward No. 45, which is now Ward No. 47, in the year 2000. He also won the elections in 2005, 2009 and 2022. He was also the leader of the opposition in the municipal corporation. In the year 2014, due to being a female ward, Qureshi's wife Tahira had also won the elections.
