Congress President Criticizes Party Leaders Over Silence on Dalit Leader's Purification Case

According to sources, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has expressed displeasure with his own party leaders over the Haldwani'purification'case. According to sources, Kharge expressed his displeasure over the silence of the leaders in the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting. Mallikarjun Kharge said that many party leaders write in newspapers and speak on TV channels. But when a case like purification happened with a Dalit leader, many leaders did not speak. He said that leaders should be more vocal on such issues. According to sources, Mallikarjun Kharge said that the Congress should make the purification that took place in Haldwani a national issue.
