Congress Releases Manifesto for Rajasthan Municipal Elections, Promises Transparency and Good Governance

After the BJP, the Congress party has now released its manifesto for the municipal elections in Rajasthan. Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara held a press conference and listed 10 major resolutions of the party. These include lifting free garbage from homes, reviewing the UD tax, recruiting sanitation workers, arranging sewerage and STP, preparing a master plan, and announcing transparency in the work of municipal bodies. Dotasara has said that the full details of all the works and their progress will be updated on the website continuously. He questioned the manifesto of the Congress as well as the BJP, targeting it politically and accusing the BJP of abuse of power. Dotasara said that after the municipal elections, the Congress will work on giving good governance through local governments by forming boards. Congress resolutions include patta distribution and regulation of kutcha settlements, rationalizing the UD tax, recruiting free drainage in the public interest, and removing the problem of the sewerage system. It has also been promised to give full priority to the garbage collection and cleaning houses.
