Congress State In-Charge Shailja Kumari Prepares for Election Campaign Tour in Garhwal

In Uttarakhand, preparations have also started for the assembly elections with the Char Dham Yatra. Congress state in-charge Shailja Kumari is preparing for the election campaign in Garhwal after the successful tour of Kumaon. Along with the visit to Badrinath and Kedarnath, workers'conferences and meetings will also be held. According to party sources, this tour of Shailja will start from April 27. It will start from Rishikesh, from where she will leave with her entourage to the hilly districts of Garhwal. This event is being seen as a spiritual faith as well as a political strategy. Her tour will be completed with a workers'conference in Chamba, Tehri. Significantly, this will be the second visit of state in-charge Shailja to Uttarakhand in a month. Earlier on April 8, she started a four-day tour from Rudrapur in Kumaon division. Although the workers'conference held during that time in Usnagar, Nainital, Dehradun, Haridwar and Haridwar has been sent to the All India Congress Committee.
