Congressmen Protest Against State Government Over Ignored Public Demands

Angry at being stopped, the Congressmen started a sit-in protest with placards shouting slogans against the state government. The workers said that the people of Bhatwadi area have been sitting on a dharna for the last ten days demanding the establishment of a Kendriya Vidyalaya and widening of the Gangotri highway, but they are not being heard. Advertisement Congressmen allege that despite their claims of service and good governance, the officials are staying put at the headquarters instead of listening to the problems of the public, while the demands of the public are being ignored.
