Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, this incident has caused political heat in Raiganj, North Dinajpur. On Tuesday afternoon, MLA Krishna Kalyani came to attend the spring festival held in the premises of Subashganj High School in Raiganj. The crowd of teenagers and common people overflowed in the festive mood. When the MLA got up on the stage and started greeting everyone with a swing, a group of teenagers started chanting'Jai Shri Ram '. The MLA left the stage. The BJP took advantage of this incident.
