Controversy Erupts in Maharashtra Politics Between BJP and Shiv Sena Over Program

Maharashtra politics is witnessing a new controversy. The controversy started and escalated between BJP and Shiv Sena over a program. The controversy arose over the removal of the name of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde from the official invitation cards of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Shiv Sena workers protested over this and surrounded BJP leader and Forest Minister Ganesh Naik, which made the atmosphere tense. Note that Ganesh Naik is considered to be a staunch opponent of Shinde. The controversy began on Monday when Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's name did not appear in the invitation cards for a high-level event. Ganesh Naik had come to inaugurate various health facilities of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, but the Shiv Sena faction was angry because Eknath Shinde's name was not in the invitation card. However, the invitation card also includes the name of MP Naresh Mhaske and Eknath Shinde's son Shrikant Shinde, but Eknath's name was not included in the invitation card. A large number of supporters of Naik reached the venue as soon as the program started and protested. Thane Municipal Commissioner Naresh Mhaske also told him that he was angry with the Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
