'Darya' Thrills Audiences, 'Vibe' Keeps Up the Pace at Indian Box Office

On its first Sunday at the box office, Darya and Vibe have performed better than expected, with Meghna Gulzar's crime thriller starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kareena Kapoor Khan registering a 20% increase in nett at the India box office, while Kunal Kemmu's action-comedy film is still doing well at the box office after three days. According to CineKnil, Darya, which was released in theatres on 18 September, collected an estimated ₹1 crore nett in India on its first day. On the other hand, Vibe, which opened at ₹1.70 crore on Friday, opened at ₹1 crore on Friday. The film's collections jumped on its second day and collected ₹1.75 crore. On Sunday, its collections increased further and the film collected ₹1.75 crore. On the third day, the film had 1,839 shows.
