Delhi Court Orders Dog Vaccination and Sterilization Camps in Each Ward

The court said that the MCD and NDMC should set up camps in each ward of their respective areas. This should be implemented as a pilot project for the time being. Wide publicity should be given before the camps begin and placards should be put up at prominent places. These should clearly state that unclaimed dogs are not being caught nor will they be sent to the dog pound (a place of protection in a safe, humane and respectful environment). They will be brought to the camp only for vaccination and sterilisation.
