In Delhi, a controversy has erupted over the addition of BJP leader Raghav Chadha's name to the voter list. The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi clarified that BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha had applied to add his name to the voter list of Rajinder Nagar assembly constituency by filling Form 6 on 26 August. This application was approved after the whole process on 2 September. The Aam Aadmi Party questioned this whole matter and alleged that Chadha's name has been added through the backdoor. According to the Delhi CEO Office, according to the information on record, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha applied for AC-39 i.e. Rajinder Nagar seat through Form 6 on 26 August. This application number is stated to be U05039D6N2608261200000. The Office said that this application was approved by the Returning Officer after the completion of the seven-day mandatory notice period. That is, after receiving the application, it was not approved immediately, although the CEO's Office said that the entire process of cleaning the Aam Aadmi Party has been decided as per the rules.
