Delhi's Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls Underway

The process of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has started in the capital. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are reaching door-to-door. Political parties have also directed their workers to help voters so that their supporters can be enrolled in the electoral rolls. The BJP has formed teams from state to booth level. Booth Level Agents (BLA) 2 have been deployed at each booth. Delhi BJP state president Harsh Malhotra chaired a meeting and discussed the progress of the SIR process. The workers have been directed to cooperate with the people as much as possible. There are a total of 13033 polling booths in Delhi. Out of these, BLA 2 of the BJP are registered with the Election Commission. BLA 2 have been doing voter verification and mapping work at their booths for the last several days. Along with the voters, all the BLOs appointed by the Election Commission have also been cooperating with the SIA 2. MP Ramesh Bidhuri and MP Ramesh Bidhuri have been coordinating the entire process of BLA training.
