Deoria MP Condemns Inadequate Response to Erosion Crisis in Kushinagar

In Kushinagar, 15 villages are surrounded by water due to the erosion that started at km 6 of the AP Dam from the Ufnai Narayani River. When Deoria MP Shashank Mani Tripathi reached the erosion site in Dayal at around 8 pm on Wednesday, he was dissatisfied with the response of the officials of the flood task force. He said, "Don't fool me. Where are the boulders, geobags, hydra, labourers? There is no generator set, we are sitting in the dark." The MP asked the officials about the resources available on the spot to protect against floods and erosion. The officials could not give a clear answer. When the MP asked the availability of each and every tax, he expressed his displeasure. He said that negligence will be investigated and no one will be spared. He told the officials that after they leave, who will monitor the situation when you all leave the spot.
