DMK Refuses to Attend Opposition Meeting Amid Tensions with Congress

In a major setback to the opposition alliance (Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance), the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has refused to attend the alliance meeting to be held in New Delhi on June 8. The party has clearly stated that the meeting is being held in the presence of the Congress and its workers are extremely angry with the Congress after the recent political developments in Tamil Nadu.
