Dr. Dinesh Sharma Appointed Lieutenant Governor of Andaman Nicobar

Since the time of his active politics, Dr. Dinesh Sharma has been holding one post or the other. Currently, he is a Rajya Sabha member and his tenure is going to complete in November. Even before that, he has been appointed Lieutenant Governor. Dr. Sharma, the former Deputy Chief Minister of UP, has also been the Mayor of Lucknow. Ever since the order of his appointment to the post of Lieutenant Governor was issued on Saturday, his residence was flooded with congratulatory messages. The phone rang late into the night. While talking on one phone, the other phone went to the waiting. On getting the new responsibility, Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that the central government has given him a big responsibility. The decision that the leadership has taken will be followed with full devotion. He said that Andaman Nicobar is a very important region for the country. It is also of special importance from the point of view of tourism and there is a large number of tourists from the country and abroad. In such a situation, speciality and sensitivity will have to be maintained while working there. He said that his work will be implemented by strengthening the decision-making system and coordination with the central government.
