Elderly Man Found Dead in Brahmakund in Bhavnagar District

The body of an elderly man was found in the holy Brahmakund in Sehore of Bhavnagar district today. Local people immediately informed the municipality and the police administration when they saw the body floating in the kund. Preliminary investigation of the police has identified the deceased as Vinubhai Bhikhabhai Makwana (65 years), a resident of Dhasapa area of Sehore. As soon as the incident was reported, corporators and people in large numbers gathered at Brahmakund. A team of Sehore police and municipality rushed to the spot. Police with the help of locals shifted the body to a government hospital for postmortem. Whether the old man died due to accidental drowning or some other reason, the police have started an investigation in that direction. The exact cause of death will be clear only after the postmortem report comes.
