Out of about 60 lakh eligible voters in the state, verification of 40 lakh has been completed till Sunday. According to Election Commission sources, names of about 18 lakh voters have been deleted so far. Names of 20 lakh voters are still under consideration. The Commission has said that the entire process will be completed before April 6, the last date for filing nominations for the first phase. The second supplementary list of the SIR was published on Friday. The third list was published within 24 hours. The Election Commission released the third supplementary voter list late on Saturday. A special tribunal portal has also been launched through which voters excluded from the list can apply for re-verification of their names. The application process began on Sunday. Voters can apply online by going to the Commission's official website eci.gov.in and clicking on the'Submit Application for Individual (Under Adjudication )'option. Then login using mobile number or EPIC number, enter the details of the excluded voter in the EPIC code and submit the application (within 1000 words).
