Election Commission Decisions Under Fire: Kapil Sibal Demands Cancellation

Addressing the media on the decisions of the Election Commission and the changes in the voter list, Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal said that if any decision is taken by the Chief Election Commissioner alone, then it definitely cannot be considered as the decision of the Election Commission. He has also demanded to cancel all such decisions. Sibal has said that the previous decisions related to the elections should be cancelled. The voter list should be based on the list before the notification of the Election Commission on 24 June. Also, the door-to-door work of the BLOs in Delhi is also not practical. Now it is very much done. Sibal said, The youth, the country, the press and every aware citizen should stand united against this. It should be ensured that they are not only building a democratic India, but also flourish. Sibal said, Be it West Bengal, Bihar, or Haryana. Maharashtra, there are many elections left.
