The Election Commission of India (ECI) today released the schedule for elections to 27 Rajya Sabha seats and three State Legislative Councils on Monday, 1st June. As per the schedule released by the Election Commission, elections will be held on 18th June. According to the Election Commission, voting for all elections will be held on 18th June from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. Counting of votes will also begin on the same day from 5.00 pm. Filing of nominations - 1st June, 11.00 am. Last date for filing nominations - 8th June, 3.00 pm. Scrutiny of nominations - 9th June. Last date for withdrawal of nominations - 11.00 june. Voting day - 18th June, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. Counting of votes - 18th June, 5.00 pm. The Election Commission has informed that biennial elections will be held for 24 Rajya Sabha seats in 10 States. Bypolls will be held in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Odisha. Biennial elections to nine State Legislative Council seats and by-election to one Legislative Council seat in Bihar will be held for seven seats in Karnataka.
