In view of the number of voters and caste, it is a matter of concern for the political parties that more than one million voters have left the districts of Haryana-NCR. This information was revealed in the draft voters'list after the special intensive revision campaign of the Election Commission. Although there is time to file objections till 31 August, only a select number of such voters are filing objections. At the same time, a special campaign will be run on 22-23 August and 29-30 August for the convenience of the voters under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) being run in Haryana by the Election Commission of India. On these dates, all the BLOs of the state will be present at their polling stations from 9 am to 5 pm and will receive claims and objections from the eligible voters. Haryana's Chief Electoral Officer A. Srinivas has appealed to the citizens to make sure to check their names and the eligible members of their families in the initial voter list. If any eligible person's name is not included in the list, then a total of 3815 documents along with the required form can be submitted.
