The counting of votes was completed in six phases. During the election process, the administration paid special attention to security and arrangements. The votes were counted as per the prescribed procedure in the presence of officials. The candidates and their supporters kept an eye on the figures of each phase till the results were declared. During the counting, observer Nisar Ahmad Khan, District Election Officer Arun Kumar Vishwakarma and Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Gupta reached the Polytechnic College to take stock of the arrangements. The officials took information about the counting process from Deputy District Election Officer Manoj Upadhyay. Also, the staff engaged in the counting work received information about the necessary arrangements. The victory of Pooja Chouksey is also being considered important as there was a long legal process regarding the Zila Panchayat Ward-3 seat. Chouksey fought a legal battle on her behalf till the Supreme Court. Thereafter, the by-election was held, in which she won again. After the results were announced, Pooja Chouksey expressed gratitude to the voters. She said that her victory in the election was not just a victory of the people.
