Eminent Personalities From India And Pakistan Urge Normalization Of Relations

Over 100 eminent personalities from India and Pakistan have appealed for normalisation of relations between the two countries. In an open letter dated June 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shehbaz Sharif have appealed for resumption of dialogue and normalisation of relations between the two neighbours. The open letter has been drafted by OP Shah, Chairman, Centre for Peace and Progress. The letter, signed by 61 Indians and 55 Pakistanis, urges both governments to take meaningful steps towards restoring peace, normalcy, dialogue and cooperation in South Asia and stresses that the only practical way to resolve differences is through continued dialogue and engagement.
