Escalating Conflict: Iran-US Tensions Reach New Heights in Middle East

US President Donald Trump has announced the re-imposition of a blockade against Iran in the Strait of Hormuz and the charging of ships from other countries in exchange for safe sea passage. The series of maritime attacks and retaliatory military actions between the two countries has intensified in recent days. This tension has also affected the international oil market and has led to a spike in crude oil prices. The United States has so far released 14 new casualties from its military forces in the Strait of Hormuz.
