Crime gangs in Europe are now recruiting teenagers through social media to murder them for money, Europol has warned. Police are calling it violence-as-a-service. The main name behind this racket is Sweden's Foxtrot network. Police believe this gang is responsible for about 35 murders since 2022. The gang is also accused of attacks on Israeli targets in Europe and links to the Iranian government. The gang is led by Rava Majid, who fled Sweden and is now living in Turkey and Tehran, Iran. The UK government banned Majid and Foxtrot in 2025. These gangs target young people on social media. They lure them with fat cash and make them murder for hire. Sometimes they don't get paid because they are immediately arrested. There have been 2 major cases this year. Student Attila Azimov (18 years old) shot Azimov in the back of a stock exchange, but he was caught at the age of 20.
