Family Feud: Sister-In-Law vs Daughter-In-Law in Gujarat Local Body Elections

Amreli / Dang: As Gujarat gears up for local body elections, the political battle in Amreli and Dang districts has reached its home turf. The Amreli municipality and Dang district panchayat seats are going to be fought not between common leaders but members of the same family. Somewhere the Dera and the sister-in-law are at loggerheads, somewhere the mother-in-law are at loggerheads. The high-voltage drama of the Dera and the daughter-in-law is creating a lot of curiosity among the voters. The political heat is at its peak in Ward No-9 of the Amreli municipality. Here the Bharatiya Janata Party has trusted the sister-in-law to hand them the'lotus ', while the Congress has fielded the daughter-in-law as a'panja'candidate. The two women, who live in the same house, have now become each other's arch rivals in the campaign field. Both of them have formally filed their nomination papers.
