Festival of Democracy: Sikka Municipality Sees High Turnout in Local Elections

(By Mukund Badiyani) Jamnagar તા.26: Sikka Municipality area of Jamnagar district has witnessed the spirit of festival of democracy since early morning on Sunday. The polling station at Sikka Middle School is thronged by young and old since morning. A total of 80 candidates are in the fray for 28 seats in Ward No. 1 to 7 for the Sikka Municipality elections. A total of 19,409 voters are registered in the area. Long queues of voters were seen at the polling stations since morning.
