Gadkari Criticizes Caste-Based Politics, Emphasizes Equality in Development

Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, is known for his outspokenness in national politics. Gadkari speaks his mind directly. On Friday, at an event organized in Nagpur on International Workers'Day, Nitin Gadkari made a similar statement, which is now being discussed. Gadkari targeted those who do politics on the basis of caste and religion. Gadkari said,'Yesterday, many people are trying to divide the society in the name of caste and religion. But I do not believe in such politics. Caste politics will not benefit the country '. Nitin Gadkari said that the rate at which Hindus get gas, petrol, and diesel is the same as that of Muslims. That is, no discrimination is being made in any development and facilities. I have seen many leaders who speak on caste and make big announcements from the stage. But when they meet their son or wife for a ticket, Gadkari said that he will be identified with the caste leaders.
