Gang Wars Erupt in Sitapur: Police Crack Down on Violent Clashes

Gang activity is coming to the fore after gang wars between gangs operating under the names AK-47 in Fatehpur and T-20 Gang in Baddupur and 4152 Gang in Mehmoodabad, Sitapur. Police have taken action against 11 arrested accused involved in the struggle for supremacy between Sitapur and Barabanki gangs. Police are on the lookout for other accused in the gang. Some youths run a gang named 4152 in Mehmoodabad, Sitapur, in which more than 100 teenagers and youths are associated. Similarly, a gang of youths named AK-47 is active in Fatehpur. On 1 August, a lathi-charge took place between the two gangs over the Bhagauli regulator in Baddupur. On 1 August, two youths were injured. Police averted a major incident. Some youths were detained from the spot while some youths escaped from the spot. Police registered a case against 60 youths from both sides in the case.
