Gehlot Accuses Conspiracy of Foiling His Bid for Congress Presidency

Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot has once again raised the old issue, when he used to be the national president of Congress. Gehlot says that it was decided to make him the president, but due to a conspiracy, everything turned upside down. And even today people do not know the real truth. A few years ago, there was a talk of election for the post of president in Congress. Sonia Gandhi and the top leadership of Congress had made up their mind to make Ashok Gehlot the national president of the party. Gehlot himself was ready for this post and he considered it honorable. But as soon as it was decided, the party sent observers to Rajasthan, i.e. leaders who came to see the situation there. After this, the situation changed rapidly. According to Gehlot, there was a big conspiracy behind this whole development, due to which he could not become the president. After this whole matter, the word spread across the country that Gehlot himself refused the post of president, because he did not want to leave the post of chief minister of Rajasthan.
