Nashik: The real face of Ashok Kharat, the self-proclaimed godman who laid an elusive trap in the name of religion in Maharashtra's Nashik district, has been revealed. The SIT (Special Investigation Team) investigation after the arrest of the person who was considered a symbol of faith by the people, has revealed revelations that have shamed humanity. During the investigation, about 100 pornographic and objectionable videos have been found in Kharat's possession, which he is suspected to have used to blackmail women. Not only this, the Income Tax Department has also come into the fray after it was revealed that this person, who is a trustee of an ordinary temple, has benami property worth Rs 1500 crore. The biggest political twist in this case is the government funding of 2018. According to official documents, during the rule of the then BJP government, a grant of Rs 1. 05 crore was allocated to Kharat's'Shri North East Devasthan Trust'under the Tourism Development Scheme. This grant was used for temple facilities and decoration, but now the state finance commission is also raising serious questions about this matter.
