Kolhapur: The Kolhapur District Cooperative Milk Producers Union (Gokul) finally got a five-member board of administrators appointed on Monday by Divisional Sub-Registrar (Dairy) Pune Division Rajkumar Patil. Four more officers have been appointed as members of the administrative board headed by District Sub-Registrar of Satara Sanjay Kumar Sudrik. The members are Assistant Registrar of Chandgad Pradeep Malgave, Assistant Registrar of Mulshi (Pune) Sunil Dhaigude, Auditor Grade-II Sahakar (Panan) Kolhapur Sagar Balkawade, Charity Cell Chairman at Collector's office Chandrakant Parulekar. The'Gokul'director had demanded six months in advance to start the election process with the expiry of the term of the board in May 2026. However, the elections to the cooperative societies were put on hold due to the elections to the Municipal Corporation, Zilla Parishad, Panchayat Samiti during the interim period. However, after the postponement on 10 February,'Gokul'submitted the draft electoral rolls to the Assistant Director (Dairy).
