Gandhinagar: After the victory in the recently held local body elections in the state of Gujarat, the process of appointing new office bearers in the BJP-ruled institutions has reached the final stage. Now that the tour has been successfully completed, the second phase of the State BJP Parliamentary Board has formally started in Gandhinagar from today. In this meeting, in particular, intensive discussions are being held by the state leadership to finalize the names of the office bearers of the Municipal Corporations, Municipalities and Panchayats of Saurashtra and Vadodara zones. The process was put on hold due to the programs of PM Modi: It is worth mentioning that the meetings for other districts were completed earlier from 6 to 8 May, but in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Somnath and Vadodara, the meeting of these areas was postponed. This decision was taken as the local leaders were busy preparing for the PM's visit. Now that the tour has been successfully completed, the parliamentary board has met again for two days from today.
