Gujarat Budget Session: Unutilized Grants Face Scrutiny

(By Ashwin Vyas) Gandhinagar, Dec 7: The budget session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly is going on. In this budget session, the financial provisions of each department have been made. The provisions made in the current budget session are for the next year. The unutilized grant in the provision made in the last year, which has not been used till this month, according to the provision, each department has been warned that the last department's grant has not been used by that department. This has been strictly warned by the Finance Department, for which each department has been engaged. And whether the annual grant made by their department has been used or not, that department is looking into it. For this, each department is busy in its preparation.
