Gujarat Diesel Shortage Disrupts Private Bus Services and Transport Industry

Due to the price-shortage of diesel, the number of private buses on the Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara routes has decreased. In view of the ongoing war between Gandhinagar, Israel, America-Iran and the global situation, there has been a shortage of diesel for the last few days in Gujarat, due to which the transport industry has suffered financial losses. Transporters say that if the fuel shortage is not resolved, the wheels of 12 lakh trucks in Gujarat will come to a standstill.
