Gujarati Creator Kirit Goswami to Receive National Award for Children's Literature

Kirit Goswami, a teacher and creator from Jamnagar, who has made a mark in the field of children's songs and stories in Gujarati children's literature and has become popular among children as a mother with a hat and a modern Gijubhai, has achieved another national achievement. Recently, this prestigious honor will be given to the Children's Literature Institute, Uttarakhand Kirit Goswami for the special contribution of his collection of Hindi children's songs Hathiraja School Chale published in the year 2023. It is worth mentioning that this book has already received the award of the Gujarat State Hindi Sahitya Academy. He will be awarded this award in the special program of the National Children's Literature Conference-2026 to be held in Almora, Uttarakhand next June. Five research papers have been prepared so far on the literature of this creator who understands the likes and dislikes of modern children. Kirit Goswami, who is being honored for the fourth time at the national level, has a sense of joy in the education and literary world of Jamnagar. The works are being taught in textbooks.
