Gandhinagar: Today's elections to 34 Zila Panchayats in the state of Gujarat are witnessing a new enthusiasm among the rural voters. The polling process is progressing peacefully amid tight police security by the administration. According to reports, the state has recorded an average voter turnout of over 29% till noon. A statistical analysis of the polling shows that the tribal-dominated district of Narmada, where the district has been at the forefront with the highest voter turnout of 38%.
